Steven Strauss Named 2012 Professor Laureate by Colorado State University's College of Natural Sciences
As an undisputed leader in the area of boron and carbon chemistry and as an interdisciplinary scientist, for his unwavering commitment to teaching and mentoring students and for his service to CSU and beyond, Professor Steven Strauss clearly deserves recognition by the College of Natural Sciences as a Professor Laureate, said chemistry department chair Professor Ellen Fisher who nominated Strauss.

Colorado State University has begun enrolling students for a new program this fall that gives managers of zoos and animal sanctuaries the business and scientific knowledge to run these facilities. The two-year Master of Professional Natural Sciences program allows students to pursue advanced scientific training while also developing workplace skills.
