Pat Bedinger and Jay Breidt Named 2013 Professor Laureates by Colorado State University's College of Natural Sciences

LAUREL VILLAGE PROJECT NOW UNDER CONSTRUCTION

The construction of Laurel Village, the new College of Natural Sciences Learning Community, is now above ground and rolling towards it summer 2014 completion date. The two resident halls, which will primarily support freshmen natural science students, is modeled after the successful Academic Village living learning community on the south side of campus. The project is expected to be LEED certified and will feature sustainable and local products and energy saving features. Lisa Dysleski has recently been appointed Assistant Director of the new living learning community, which will feature integrated academic areas and an art gallery. Dysleski, who received her Ph.D. in Chemistry at CSU, will be responsible for developing the community, its administration, and academic student success.
