Summer research experiences & internships

The Rochester Institute of Technology maintains a web site listing undergraduate research experience (REU) and internship programs in the U.S. You can search by research category or by state.

Ecological Undergraduate Research Experience

Ecological Undergraduate Research Experience (NSCI 487) is a one credit class that pairs undergraduate students seeking research experience in ecological or related sciences with graduate students, faculty, or researchers who need help with their projects.

To apply for the three opportunities listed below, you must complete the CSUSA general application, and also apply directly to the opportunity that you are interested in. The CSUSA will be available online at RAMweb beginning December 1.

James Sites & Elaine Regelson Undergraduate Research Scholarship

This scholarship supports undergraduates majoring in Physics and Computer Science who actively pursue research under the guidance of a CSU faculty member.

Student eligibility requirements:

Dale R. Winder Research Scholarship Fund

This scholarship gives undergraduates an opportunity to work one-on-one with faculty on research in Physics, and in so doing gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the research process.

Bob Gaines Undergraduate Research Fellowship in Mathematics

This program provides undergraduates an opportunity to work one-on-one with faculty on mathematics research.
